LET'S CRUISE

Mix Mob is getting ready to drop another new song, “Let’s Cruise,” a laid-back Southern California anthem inspired by one of the band’s most beloved early tracks, “Cruizer Love,” featuring Saint Dog.

The idea for “Let’s Cruise” came from Ryan Weaver wanting to capture that same feeling of freedom, escape, and cruising with nowhere you have to be, along with a little inspiration from something his dad once told him. Ryan brought the idea to Lewis Richards at 17th Street Recording, who helped drive the music and create a track built around that classic Mix Mob blend of reggae, rock, hip-hop, and SoCal attitude, with a soulful chorus delivered by Dread Kennedy.

At its heart, “Let’s Cruise” is about letting go. When life gets heavy, sometimes you just need to get outside, clear your head, and ride. Grab your cruiser bike, jump in the car with the top down, turn the music up, and go.

No pressure. No destination. Just cruise.
