ROCK STAR

“Rock Star” by Mix Mob, featuring Ryan Weaver and Dread Kennedy, is an upbeat anthem about growing older without losing your fire. Recorded at 17th Street Recording with Lewis Richards, the song embraces the idea that age is only a number and that getting older doesn’t mean slowing down, giving up, or leaving your best days behind. With lyrics like “I’m still a Rock Star in my head. I may be old, but I’m not dead,” “Rock Star” celebrates staying young at heart, holding onto your passion, and continuing to live life with confidence and energy. The song was intended to be fun and comical, with a dash of playful hip hop arrogance in the verses. At its core, “Rock Star” is about resilience, refusing to let the years define you, and believing there is still plenty of life, music, and adventure ahead.
