Music Executive | Entrepreneur | Artist Manager | Founder of Suburban Noize Records
Kevin Zinger is a Southern California music executive, entrepreneur, artist manager, and documentary film producer whose career spans more than three decades in the music and entertainment industries.
Beginning his career promoting concerts throughout San Diego County at just 19 years old, Zinger became an influential figure in Southern California’s underground punk, hip-hop, reggae-rock, and alternative music scenes.
He co-founded SRH (Supporting Radical Habits) with Ryan White, helping promote emerging artists including Sublime, Blink-182, Cypress Hill, Pennywise, and The Offspring.
Zinger went on to establish Suburban Noize Records and co-found The Regime Management, now associated with Regime Music Group. His business ventures also include The Empire Agency, Battle Axe Records, Island Empire Records, and the nationally syndicated Skratch N’ Sniff radio program.
He is also a co-founder of The Pier, an online music publication covering reggae, rock, alternative music, artist interviews, and Southern California music culture.
KEVIN ZINGER & SUBLIME
Kevin Zinger currently co-manages the legendary Southern California band Sublime alongside music industry veteran Joe Escalante.
Zinger has played a significant role in Sublime’s modern resurgence following the reunion of original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh with Jakob Nowell, son of the band’s late founding vocalist Bradley Nowell.
Through Regime Music Group, Zinger and his team have helped guide Sublime’s recent recordings, promotional campaigns, and return to major stages.
KEVIN ZINGER & MIX MOB
Kevin Zinger played an important role in MIX MOB’s early career.
During the band’s original era, Zinger signed MIX MOB to his independent record label, Suburban Noize Records.
In 2002, MIX MOB released its debut album, “So Cal Drunks,” through Suburban Noize Records.
The album introduced MIX MOB’s distinctive combination of rock, punk, hip-hop, ska, and Southern California influences.
Today, founding singer Ryan Weaver has returned with a new chapter of MIX MOB music, collaborating with vocalist Dread Kennedy and producer Lewis Richards of 17th Street Recording.
